Attention all Chicagoan’s as well as Chicago Business, Civic, Religious and Community Leaders, we are now are now accepting nominations for The NUCLEAR | CHICAGO Unethical Attorney Contest!
The guidelines for our monthly contest are rather straightforward:
1). In order to encourage and stimulate participation – each submission shall remain anonymous. All submissions published will be required to use pseudonyms in order to protect the identities of all involved participants: attorneys, judges, plaintiffs, defendants, prosecutors, et al.
2). Each submission will be required to submit an executive summary not to exceed two (2) single-spaced type written pages. The monthly cash award will be based exclusively upon same executive summary.
3). While pseudonyms will be required for confidentiality purposes – all monthly cash award recipients will be required to submit to a separate indemnification agreement whereby pseudonyms will be reviewed and compared to the actual participants, circumstances and events so that Nuclear Chicago may stipulate same. In explicit terms, Nuclear Chicago will verify that same winning submission is corroborated by actual identities, summation of actual circumstances and corroboration by at least three parties.
4). Monthly submissions are due by the 15th of the month, and monthly winner will be chosen by no later than the 30th of the month. Cash disbursement will be made within 15-business days.
5). Annual Contest: Each quarter Nuclear Chicago will select a submission to compete for the Annual Award. The quarterly submission will be chosen from the most egregious and sensational submission amongst the three winning submissions for each quarter. Aside from the quarterly nominations – an ‘at-large-nomination’ will be selected upon an Advisory and Evaluation Committee (journalists, columnists, business leaders, religious leaders, community leaders and academia) being formed for the The Annual Award Contest. Same Annual Award Contest and Award Luncheon will be underwritten based upon promotional and corporate sponsorship as well as private donations.
Submissions are now being accepted for June 2011 Unethical Attorney Award. The cash award amount for the June 2011 Unethical Attorney Award will be published by no later than June 10, 2011.
